wasn't he a boise guy at one point also?[/QUOTE]

    Yea u right:

"Prior to taking over ASU, Koetter spent three seasons as head coach at Boise State where he compiled a 26-10 mark and two consecutive bowl victories. He was a two-time Big West Coach of the Year honoree and two-time conference champion."

Koetter is also the guy that had LSU on the ropes in Tempe, and then tried to do the roll out rugby punt only to Landry (I think) block it and run it in for a late TD.
He had pretty good offensive teams....just keep him away from the special teams.

I think Les Miles should find a coordinator who is more in tune with his way of doing things. If Miles wants to be a power running, play-action passing, pro-style football team then find a coordinator who runs that style. The problem I've always had with Crowton is that he tries to do too many things - spread, spread option, zone read, power I ...etc. LSU has no true identity in my opinion and it's frustrating for the players much less the fans. I also believe it's been the main culprit in the clock management problems as well. Trying to substitue all these different player groupings and not knowing ahead of time what to call coupled with a very average quarterback leads to poor time management.

Anyone that doesn't automatically assume that Jordon Jefferson should be starting qb would be better than what we have

Depends on who you ask. I would say a safe bet is somewhere above 0% but less than 100%.

True. We have no identity and it is inefficient and causes confusion. We run a small number of plays from multiple formations and personnel packages and it is very predictable.
