I'll give him a B also. He seems to be more comfortable with the intermediate to long ball verses the short stuff. He has timing issues with the latter. Considering his experience at this level I'm feelin pretty good about it.
I can see this team getting better and better as the year goes on. Last year, we basically peaked too soon (against Va Tech.) This year, we're going to get stronger. It's just a feeling.
I also have the feeling that the offense is well on its way to becoming a complete package; it is the defense I am concerned about...a lot of work and adjustments or improvements to be made.
I agree with a B grade. All in all he did very well. He played great in the first 1.5 QTRs. Did anyone else other than me think he may have hurt his hand? He seemed to be rubbing it a lot following that long pass to Tolliver. He seemed to try to throw that pass as hard as he could, but despite his strong arm, it was a little underthrown. TT caught it, but if it had been in stride it would have been a TD. From that point on, JL misfired a bit and seemed to rub his hands alot. Maybe it was nothing and he just got in a little rut. I don't think it would be anything more than a jammed finger, if anything at all.
