The game was so hilarious... La Tech was so inept that they had a 2nd and Goal on the MSU 7 yard line ... La Tech then lost 87 yards on a botched snap (true story) and ended up punting ... lol Skip Holtz looked like someone had just blown up his house and car ... We get Rashard Lawrence back and hopefully Arden Key ...
Rashard and Key I think were purposely held out of these two games. Moo will be our first big test will need both.
Yeaux Meaux, I watched replay and MSU is gonna be a handful for LSU ... Your fears are justified They obliterated La Tech while we footsy around with Chattanooga & have 10 penalties in the first half ... LSU needs to jump on their cowbell ringin @$$e$ from the kickoff and play 60 minutes of turnover free & reasonably error (critical penalty) free FB They have a big line and that QB gets rid of the ball quickly and has wheels like Etling. They match up well against us and we show up unmotivated and they will make it a long night with those damned cowbells. I think we're fine with lotsa TE & FB passes and RUNNING RIGHT AT THEM when they don't stack the box

I wonder if those yards were subtracted from the rushing yardage? Talk about a boost to your run d ranking

Yep and with that 87 yards reduction, MSU still gave up 157 rushing to La Tech... La Tech moved the ball well, just made costly mistakes. LSU "should" run well on them.
Zero Turnovers for LSU this year ... Those 10 penalties in the first half ... Only 1 penalty called in the second half and this shows LSU can avoid mistakes ... I wonder how O motivated them to 1 penalty in the second half? PLAYERS ARE GONNA BE HUNGRY ... THE PIT WARS ARE UPON US GENTS!!!
