Put it this way. Think if we had to play them this week with such a flat spot. Danger danger Maybe ass to mouth (I'm stealing it) can put together two halves for once.
But it was against AU and State. Enough said. They haven't been able to do it against true SEC competition, yet, and were pretty sucky at it in the Big 12, as well.
AU, right, the team our offense scored 10 on. I can only imagine if we scored 63 and ATM scored 10. Objectivity is our friend.
We sucked hard in the AU game, but AU still at least had a pulse when we played them. They were on life support, but they were still living. Now, it's the AU Fighting Corpses.
Well LSU was their last hope of respectability.They were probably looking pastULM to us and as a home SEC game they were as focused and together as they have been. Plus we gave them hope with the TOs. Remeber before Mett's fumble we were shredding them. Losing to us as poorly as we played was the death knell to their hopes.
While I won't say they beat ULM (refs beat ULM) the books have it down as a win. They aren't Arkansas lol
I hope the LSU that lost to Alabama is the one that shows up, but I hope they don't change the defensive plays that were working again because we had that game won (we DID win that game if you look at stats alone). In my opinion, we played Alabama better than we've played all season. Bama is a good, solid team. We lost by 4 points with mostly new guys playing. If they can bring that same spirit to Death Valley Saturday, this one is in the bag... easily.
