I dunno. I would just love for the man to coach on the sideline. Cant remember a time he even looked pissed when a player messed up and cost us points etc.
Here's hoping the rumor of his looming retirement is true. I'd actually love for the guy to go out on a high note.
Does anyone remember the 2008 Bama game? Miles really let his sack hang out. God we weren't that good that year, but the man just coached different that year. That year also ended the man we knew.
Why is Peveto always up Elmer's ass on the sideline? He's never more than a foot away. That's about as close as that ass clown will ever come to being a head coach.
Gotta say, the post game press conference almost looked like he was feeling the same frustration fans were these past few years and he finally sees things turning the corner for the better.
Jefferson to Randle over the middle? To this day lil Nicky never thought Elmer had the onions to call that.
STs looked like some pimps tonight, even with the gangster lean kickoff out of bounds (and to a lesser degree blocked field goal). Side note: the BOS' golden child, Fisher, got reemed today.
I don't disagree with most of what you've said, but the lack of focus the last 5 years (if that's the right phrase) is only relevant to the fan base. Leonard Fournette didn't fumble twice tonight because Jarrett Lee's terrible freshman year made Les Miles afraid of the forward pass. Our defense didn't give up 2 4th quarter touchdowns tonight because last year's DC (I can't even remember his name) earned a reputation for playing soft at the end of close games. There's a lot going on with this team as this season develops. We are transitioning to a new QB, and the very brief history we have with him indicates the coaching staff may be open to more aggressive play calling. We have a first year def. coordinator who seems to be starting to open up his bag of tricks as well. The Wisky game was inexcusable, and yes, it was all on Miles, but I think the team is putting that behind them. I'm not saying don't be skeptical. I'm just saying try to evaluate what you see fairly
Team intensity is directly related to the coach. We have littetally bitched about it for years. And yes, that is Miles fault. No. Miles didn't cause the fumble. He also didn't chew Fournettes ass.
I also think Wisconsin is behind us, thank God. Hell, multiple receivers making catches all over the field? It seems like an eternity since we've seen that!
