He wouldn't have. The last couple of years he was here, he never went after a QB. I know that rushing the QB can bite you in the ass sometimes, but I'd rather be aggressive than just allowing a QB to pick you apart.
Yea, especially when your CB's seem to be on WR's like glue but can't turn their head around to save their life.
I'm pissed at Miles. All the things you say can't be blamed on coaching, when they happen year after year they damn sure can be blamed on Miles. But... All of a sudden we have a hungry STs (minus another kick out of bounds). We have a nasty defense. And most of all, we have a QB who isn't an incompetent boob. If Miles could get his guys to fucking focus for 4 quarters we might have a bad ass fuckin team. It's still possible. GD it, Miles is breaking my thinker again. Need more drink.
Its been an MO for a while for our teams to lose focus. I hardly seem him chew anyone's ass. Some seem to think that doesn't matter, but the intensity level we have right now will not get us 10 wins. Which apparently is the magic number for the rainbow folk.
If they do, I'd wager it'll be more on Leslie and cam than aranda. Chavis played some weak sauce D on quite a few Saturday's, especially in crunch time. F that dude.
I like the defense, the punter is fucking good when he is asked to punt the ball instead of that rugby shit. Special Teams coverage is obviously night and day compared to last season, they are so much better. The defense is still working out having to change schemes. The offense. Danny Etling is the better quarterback. I think everyone agrees with that. However we are still hampered by an unimaginitive offense that either is way to conservative and simple, or just downright stupid when they try to get cute. Their idea of creativity is stupid ass gadget plays that they keep going back to even when they fail miserably. The play calling 85 percent of the time was atrocious tonight. It's like they have no clue when to call the plays. Their situational awareness when it comes to play calling has to be the worst among FBS schools. We are looking at another 3-6 loss season, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if A&M and Auburn beat LSU along with losses to UF, Bama, Arky, and Ole Miss. LSU has the most skill on its roster in the SEC, they prove that year in and year out by the number of players they put in the NFL, but no one squanders more talent than Les Miles and Cam Cameron. It's appalling. I hate it for Fournette, because his college career is going to be defined as an uber talented dude that couldn't do anything against Alabama and that's a shame because he is held to such a high standard. If he doesn't run for at least 150 and 3 scores people are like "what's wrong with Fournette". LSU's offense was just abysmal in the 2nd half and I blame it on the coaching staff and play calling.
