You can also just walk into the ticket office and get good tickets on game day. Two times, I've gotten tickets on the 50 yard line behind the LSU bench twice now (one time they were cheap, the last time--not so much.)
Yea that's all I've come across so far for face value is 2 together. Would have to be minimum 4 but I think we are changing plans. Several more folks from both teams are wanting to do something so might just do a big cookout at my house. Grill some doves and deer burgers, fry fish and usual dips etc type stuff. We are on the "waiting list" for a room at the cook but I think we will prob just do the cookout now since so many folks wanting in on something
That must have been when Curley was coach. If Miles doesn't have a major epiphany you can pay that little again soon. When Curley was coach I called the ticket office one time to ask what time the game started. The guy asked me "What time can you make it?"
The Curley days were certainly the worst. My ex and I went to the LSU/AU in '93, and of course, in the 2nd half, we were getting killed. We got up to leave and a super fan yelled at us for being shitty fans. My ex yelled back, "I may be crazy 'bout Curley, but I'm not ready to be committed." The cheap tickets were actually the day of the LSU/Arkansas game in '11 when we were #1 and they were #3. The expensive ones were last November against A & M.
A lot of folks wanted to see Les Miles departure, first hand. Kinda sick, but just the same, an ovation for his tenure was due. Curious what that applause will be directed at this year....
Yep, that was it. We went because I wanted to witness Les Miles' last game in Tiger Stadium. It was a pretty glorious and electric atmosphere that night.
it was weird as f after les got pardoned by the governor. His weird ass has way more luck than sense but he handled it better than most could have. still too weird for me. id rather actual english and communication regarding football.
