By the same token, I've known plenty of Marines that were douches. It's like when a police officer is caught on tape doing some bad shyt and everyone lumps them all together. Luckily many of the things Marines do in their jobs aren't videoed.

Sgt. Joseph L. Thomas was court-martialed for bludgeoning his wife to death, strapping her body in a vehicle and pushing it off a cliff .

Then there was Marine Lt. Colonel Otis Griffin for indecent assault on teenage boy.

Another was Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich, for example. One of two Marines Court martialed for on reduced charges in the killings of 24 Iraqi men, women and children in the town of Haditha in 2005.

And lest we not forget Josh Fry for child porn.


The military services get a pass most of the time and it's tabu to criticize them I don't mind grabbing the elephant in the room and I have three uncles who are retired military. Two navy and one air force so it's not lack of respect or appreciation from which I do so.

I'm not saying it's taboo to criticize the military or military personnel not in the least. It really pi$$es me off when a hand full of azzhole LSU fans do stupid things and we all take the black eye. Same logic applies here, the fact that the guy is a douche and a marine are totally independent from each other. It's stupid to keep linking the two no matter how upset anyone is over the situation.

 

Whoa! Calm down, fella! I mean, seriously! Program ruined? The QB that piloted our offense to a whopping last place passing offense rating and a 3rd string LB are the corner stones of our entire team??? :shock:

And....um....you should be able to beat Lowery's you-know-what...he's a bit sore and stiff right now I'd imagine.
