I don't remember much wrong with his play in the Philly game, at least not after the first play. No, not very sharp vs LA, but they were successful in doing the main thing that historically disrupts him, which is get pressure directly up the middle. A dominant pass rushing tackle will always give him more trouble than an edge guy.
nola.com playing a Saints/Pats Super Bowl live on Madden right now. https://www.nola.com/saints/2019/02...bowl-53-watch-our-live-madden-simulation.html
Not far from turning it off. In less than a quarter, they've had Brees sacked 3 times and fumble twice. He'd never sit like a statue in the pocket the way its being played.
Didn't think this deserved its own thread, so I'll just post it here - Saints color rush uniforms (white on white) voted best in the NFL, according to a poll conducted by Fox Sports. No real surprise here. We all knew they were tight, but now it's confirmed. https://wwl.radio.com/articles/new-orleans-saints-earn-2019-post-season-victory
OMG - which I think is the first time I've ever used that acronym....a movie is in the works based on the no-call. The comedy "Get The Ref!" follows a group of fans who plot revenge against the referees after the championship game. Prior Military Productions, an indie unit that actively hires disabled vets for its crews, say they're shooting for a Thanksgiving weekend release, and are in talks with Danny DeVito and Ed Helms for starring roles. They also hope to get current and former NFL stars to make cameos.
Fucking game. I looked at my wife two plays before the no-call and said, "We are going to the Super Bowl!". Motherfuckers.
