Another actual fact is that it would take a grand jury to unravel whether you griped more about JL or JJ over the past few years.
Exactly, reminds me of the Nebraska vs. Florida game of years back. Florida flashy offense and stats. Huskers D and strong running game.
I am wondering if anybody has heard what the plan is as far as the #3 QB. I thought Rivers would redshirt this season is that the case and let Randall be the #3?
Miles mentioned Rivers but mentioned Randall multiple times. I think Randall would be the 3rd if needed. However, I think we will see Magee come in before both as a Wildcat guy. Hearing in practice Magee QB, Ware RB, Odell as the 3rd threat.
Lee had mentioned in the past year that he and Matt Flynn talked a lot, and Matt had urged on him to be patient. Wow, like any twists and turns that can happen in any football game, I would never have thought that this opportunity would come up for Lee, esp. when JJ appears to be firming up his grip as the starting QB. Someone upstairs must be rewarding him for his patience and perseverance. Now it is really up to Lee to show what he's made of; I hope he had mentally matured while on the sidelines; I am kind of lamenting that he wasn't given much of a chance on the field to get more experience last season, something that is somewhat reminiscent of Flynn and JR in Matt's junior season. And now, he is seemingly dumped back into the fire. What is also critical is that he be in good sync with the receivers, and that the receivers stay sharp and not have the dropsies. I like Lee's throws as his balls are more catchable. It is also hopeful that he is helped by Kragthorpe, and his lighter weight now should mean that he is more agile. I would love to see him have a great season.
Lee had a great look on his face during last TV interview. Calm and talked about being calm and leting the game come to him. I am very sad about what happened with JJ but I am ready to move forward with JL and yes he has earned the right to be on the field.
