i agree with isztlz. i think this is a net positive, as lee and mett are better than jefferson, who is not good. ideal situation is the lee falters but wins, and is permanatly replaced by mett.
I'd say ideally Lee -- who has been considerably less shaky with time -- has a great season, and Mett stays engaged knowing that it's his team in 2012.
thats fine by me as well. i dont think the future of the team was really dependent on jefferson, who is just an ok QB. seems like lee is also at least ok, and could be better. and mett could be alot better.
Why would Lee faltering (win or lose) be an ideal situation? What proof does anybody have that Mett is ready? Wasn't it Lee who led us to victory over Tennessee and Florida? Didn't he complete a crucial third-down pass on a busted play last year to lock up the Alabama game? I think...IDEALLY...Lee should come in and play like LSU's senior quartback, leading his team to victory, while Mett continues to LEARN for his junior and senior years. That's the IDEAL situation.
I agree it is a positive but to want one of them to falter is stupid. Get back to the Political board dbag. Explain how you get replaced for winning before you go.
there is certainly no proof. but my impression of mett is that he is more talented and i think he would be a better long-term solution. certainly could be wrong.
