SC will have a bad year or 2 coming up...

Everyone sees the stockpiled talent there, and will go to a place they can play a little earlier

Several schools will catch and pass Texas i think, including us. Texas' average star rating is 3.63. Right now USC's avg star rating is 4.00 and they are the favorite for a boatload of 4 and 5 star recruits still. Miami has an avg star rating of 3.75 and are in the hunt for almost all 4 and 5 star players with only a few 3's in the picture riught now. FSU us presently at 3.75 stars per commit and they are also in on many 4 and 5 star players. Miami, USC and FSU always start slow with commits and end fast, every year.

Tenn. is above Tex. is avg rating but I expect them to lose a few due to the turmoil, although that knucklehead sure can recruit;, tOSU and Mich. are very close to Texas in avg and always finish out with strong classes.

USC wasn't even ranked last year in the early rankings and shot all the way up to the top of the list and they have gotten off to a much better start this season. They are not going to suffer as long as Pete stays there no matter how much depth they have IMO. It's one of the mecca's of CFB for these recruits and when they are playing the kind of football they have been they will get a top 3 or 4 class like they always did when McKay and Robinson were there.

Looking ahead to the following year recruiting class-2007, I read somewhere that if the Tigers would concentrate on getting the top 20 recruits in Louisiana alone, that would allow them to have the # 1 recruiting class in the nation. Wow that says a lot about the talent level in Louisiana that year. LSU!
