    So the Mountain West would become, in essence, a BCS conference. Sure.

    And the 9th and 10th place teams would have a "play-in" game and leave 9 teams playing for the championship. Okaaaaay.

    Logical to me.

    That logic made no sense.

    I think he is implying he held his breath for about a second. You should read the plan though and pick apart it's logic. Certainly there is plenty of room for it.

    and then conference usa, or some other conference, will hold their breath like a 3 year old (my apologizes to 3 year olds for the comparison) demanding to be let in too. it will be same song, second verse.

    i use conference usa because i see scott cowan leading that charge.

    It doesn't say a play in game. They would just play each other, in a BCS style game (ie making money). The other eight teams would be in a playoff.


    I'm all for any playoff talk so kudos to that conference.
