What is about this team that it needs its back against the wall to perform? With as senior laden team that LSU has, one would think they would come out of the blocks ready to go. Are they so supremely confident to a fault? Do they actually believe that the were a team of destiny? Do they actually believe the press clippings that they are just so talented that they can win every game with no emotion or fire? The defense came out and played well early. The offense was sleeping the first half and as soon as they were down 14-6, they flipped the switch and started executing. Then the defense, decided the offense has shown up so now we don't have to play any more. Plain and simple, Arkansas wanted the game more and played with fire and intensity. For a team wanting a NC, they sure don't have fire and emotion. I am most disappointed with the defense, they do not seem to play with passion and desire. The front four on obvious passing downs doesn't even seem to put forth great effort to get to the QB. They play defensive line like Mario Williams for the Texans, once they are engaged with OL they just stand there.

I haven't seen fire from this team all season in the first half of games! It's up to the players to get motivated but Miles could get his team ready also. Some of the seniors came to play and some didn't, it was sad to see Dorsey trying his best and hurting at the same time. In the meantime, other defenders missing assignments or just standing around. The momentum changer was because of Doucet getting that penalty in the late 4th. Yes, the defense sucked but I believe they could've held ARK after the Hester TD. I hope this team finds the motivation for the SECCG. They surely couldn't find it for a rivalry game. Pray to God Georgia doesn't make it to the CG because I don't think LSU can handle the Bulldogs and it'll be another blowout like a couple years ago.
