What are the most significant home runs ever hit in the post season?

Joe Carter, Blue Jays - Walk off in game 7 of the 93 World Series

Kirk Gibson, Dodgers - Grand Slam in the 88 World Series. Only grand slam ever given up by Dennis Eckersley which the announcer mentioned right before he hit it

Bucky Dent, Yankees - Game winner in the one game playoff vs Dead Sox over the Green Monster in 78

Bill Mazeroski, Pirates - Game winner in 1960 Series vs Yankees

Babe Ruth, Yankees - Called the shot vs Cubs in 1945 World Series

Reggie Jackson, Yankees - Three Home Runs on three swings of the bat against three different pitchers vs Dodgers in 77 World Series.

I don't know if Yaz hit any postseason home runs or not but he played at a time when the World Series was the only postseason. Sox lost in 67 in Yaz's only appearance. He was the last player to win a triple crown until Miguel Cabrera did in in 2012. It hasn't been done in the National League since Joe Medwick did it for the Cardinals in 1937. Ted Williams and Rogers Hornsby did it twice.

I just found out that there is a triple crown for pitchers. Leading in wins, strikeouts and ERA. Several players have done it twice but only Sandy Koufax did it 3 times. Of interest is that the second pitcher to do it was named Old Hoss Radbourn in 1884 for the Buffalo Bisons in the National League. Old Hoss's record: 59-19 with 2 saves, ERA 1.38 and 441 strikeouts

    Warren Morris! Nuff said.

(I know, this was more about the MLB postseason, but all the thread said was 'Signifcant post season HRs' and none was more significant in LSU and CWS history.)

His daughter and my daughter are good friends and classmates. I also remember playing against him when he was at Bolton. He was good but he never was the best player in this area, but still, I would kill to have that memory he has.

By the way, if Doc and Marty had gone to 1975 on October 21st they could have seen the Carlton Fisk home run.
