    Yea Sanchez SUUUUUUCKS bad!

Rex Ryan is such an idiot. All off season we heard how the Jets already won the super bowl this year. Well they showed last night what a load of crap that was. No way in hell this team makes the super bowl.

There are a few QBs I'm not really impressed with, despite their attention.

Matt Ryan, Carson Palmer (since injury, hasn't been the same) and David Garrard (he did have a good game this week).

And although he isn't hyped up anymore, what on earth caused the 49ers to think all of a sudden Alex Smith was worth another shot? Talk about hanging on too long. They should have done what Arizona did to Lienart. 6 years with almost nothing to show for it.

Sanchez overrated? I don't think so. He's certainly overpublicized, but that's because he's the QB of the Jets. I don't hear people saying things about his ability or accomplishments that would lead me to tag him as "overrated."

I've said it for years, and I'll continue to say it: Brett Favre is overrated. He's tough as nails, is a great leader and has a cannon for an arm. But he's always made dumb plays, is not that accurate, and has always benefited from playing with acrobatic receivers who didn't get enough credit for bailing him out. Anyone see the great catch Jennings made on the Aaron Rodgers overthrow this weekend. When they showed it on SportsCenter, Tom Jackson said, "Great quarterbacks become great from receivers making great catches." I thought it was ironic that he should say that about Favre's successor, considering he had just summed up Favre's career in one sentence.

Edit: I say he's a great leader, but maybe that should be past tense. His late career propensity to show up for training camp when its convenient for him is an example of poor leadership.

It comes with being the #5 pick in the draft and coming from one of supposedly the best QB schools. But I agree that no one has been praising him, but he's been so bad that he's still overrated when people rate him as a bad quarterback :D

I just don't know why you would go pro after starting only one season. Maybe it's just me.

Agree 100%. I just decided I had gone far enough on the limb with my Brett Favre rant that i didn't need to go farther by bringing up Romo.
