    I was actually watching the game where Tatis hit 2 grand slams in the same inning. I was at Ft Riley.

    Tony Cloninger is the only pitcher ever to hit 2 grand slams in the same game. He is also the only player to have achieved that feat who had never hit a grand slm before and never hit one afterward.

    Nomar Garciaparra is the only player ever to hit 2 grand slams at home.

    That's pretty rare too. I think he may be the only one who's ever done it. I wasn't watching the game when it happened, but I've seen the highlights on youtube. That one, for sure, is an unbreakable record. I doubt anyone even ties it.

    Not sure I follow you on that one. 2 GS in his home ball park in the same game?

    It was a road game for every other player who has done it.

    Nomar Garciaparra's father's name was Ramon. Nomar is Ramon spelled backwards.

    on this date, Barry Bonds stole his 500th base, making him the only member of the 500hr/500sb club,.. he is also the only member of the 400/400 club

    6/23/03, Barry Bonds steals his 500th career base,.. on his 39th birthday and in the middle of a pennant race, Bonds ended the top half of the ninth inning by throwing out Craig Counsell at the plate, then led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a walk-off home run.
