I don't think there's one precise answer to that question. If I had a team filled with superstar type players, but who lacked work ethic - I'd want some players with strong work ethic. Personally, I feel that positions like Oline, TE, LB are best suited for those types of people - where there work ethic can replace a lack of natural ability. If I've got a decent team with solid players, I want some playmakers - regardless of their work ethic. I want a WR & RB, atleast, that can flat out make plays happen.
I would say all of the above, or at least some of all of the above. A lot of things go together to make a player in any sport good. Kind of like it takes a lot of elements for a team to come together and be a great team.
Work Ethic. People would be surprised how so many recruits have the same ability yet the ones who work the hardest show it so much better
