Lee was to throw it away and the ball slipped on him...

Do you think our stats last year would have been closer to this years if the qb rotation wouldve been what it is this year? With lee playing the lead last year instead of jj? Or is it a crowton thing? There isn't anyone that could tell me that jj could have passed for the same numbers as jl has.

    Ah, thanks.

    So there ya go.

Lee should actually be on a mission to break the consecutive passes streak without an interception record if it hadn't been for that.

    Didn't matter.

It appears they were being poorly coached and Krags has indeed made all the difference in the world.

I defended Crowton to the very end and now I am convinced he was really the crux of the problem.

A couple weeks ago I went to a U-High game, Krags son was the QB, you can tell hes been coached. He drove the team right down the field and scored. Oh, the team they were playing was undefeated.

South Carolina is #1 in the NCAA with 24 forced turnovers

LSU is #1 in the NCAA with only 3 turnovers coughed up in 7 games. Wisconsin is right behind us with only 3 turnovers coughed up in 6 games. Last year Wisconsin finished #1 in fewest turnovers given up.

This is one of the strengths of an offense that favors the running game: fewer turnovers given up. In the 4 of the last 5 years, LSU has been in the Top 10 in the NCAA in fewest fumbles lost (#6 currently, #8 in 09, #1 in 08, #1 in 07)

South Carolina should easily be undefeated with 24 turnovers created in only 7 games.

But alas they had a drug addict QB they finally kicked off the team.

Spurrier should have taken care of that problem in the offseason. Poor management.

Few of the guys on the team laughed when he said that one including Lee. You don't throw a ball away 2 seconds after the snap.

Listening to Lee on the subject, it seems Crowton got to complicated for execution. ... hence, according to Lee .. Krags came in and simplified the playbook, focusing on just a few sets, and excuting those well. .. as opposed to a million formations and plays, and executing them poorly.

I know we keep hearing .. when is Krags going to "open the playbook" ... it may already be pretty much fully opened. As long as the guys keep executing .. they will succeed.
