+13 through 7 games incredible Next best team in the SEC is +6. This is the stat line that is going to win the game vs Bama. They won't get the turnover(s) that they need in order to win. And we'll force McCarron into that 1 huge interception that decides the game in our favor. 3 turnovers total all year long And one of those in garbage time by Jakari Gore vs Northwestern. The other listed as a team lost fumble vs Oregon (can't remember what that was, maybe a bad snap from center to Lee?). LSU has not turned the ball over since the Mississippi State game (4 game streak).
:thumb: I do get concerned about how JJ runs with the ball though. He needs to tuck that ball away when rushing against bama. The option run for a TD vs TN could have just as easily been a fumble the way he was extending the ball out.
+1000 The four things that most closely correlate to victory in football are 1) the ability to run the ball, 2) the ability to stop the run, 3)the ability to not turn the ball over, 4) the ability to force turnovers. Bama does three of those things better than just about anybody. LSU does all 4 of those things better than just about anybody. Turnovers give LSU a close win on November 5. Book it.
2011 team on pace for +26, which would have to be approaching some kind of record. Shows you how dominant and talented that 2003 team was with only a +5.
The one interception on possibly a misread by the receiver Randle, not sure if we ever got post game comments on that from Miles or Lee/Randle.
