It happens, so do frozen door locks on cars. Used to leave the beer outside. Thick insulated curtains usually drawn tight helped. Cabin fever is real. Winter tradition was turning on every light, heat on high, shorts, Hawaiian shirts, rum drinks and loud Jimmy Buffett. But man when the weather broke...just a stroll to the women's side of campus healed a lot of the pain. Every square inch of grass covered in bikini clad coeds. I wouldn't trade what I have now but....life was a lot simpler then and in a lot of ways, a lot more fun.
