I know this is looking ahead a bit, but he's most likely going to declare for the draft correct? It would be a shame to lose such a great player, but it's hard to say no to all of that money
Thank him and wish him well. Remember that the coaching of first round draft pick juniors is a great recruiting tool. I hope he continues to be a wise young man with all that cash.
He's looking at possibly 1st round money, 2nd round at worst. I don't see how another year would improve his stock enough to justify passing that up.
I hate to see him leave a season early, but I enjoyed watching him play for LSU. The guy is a class act too. He plays like a pro & talks like a pro. I wish him all the best.
Many have him a top 10 pick, I've seen mock drafts with him taken in the top 5. Most everything I've seen, the first CB taken. Congrats to him.
Interestingly, he is now listed #8 in ESPNs Heisman watch list. So, our Heisman hopefuls are on defense and went from Honey Badger to Mo. Obviously, neither have any serious shot at it, but it is neat to see.
Its funny to see that not many LSU players had Pre-Season Honors this year. Post-Season may show a little change.:helmet:
