Sigh. Can't tell you how many versions of this exact same rumor I heard 2 years ago. When are people going to quit regurgitating this trite hogwash?
Everybody talks about watching gump meltdowns. The only meltdown I have witnessed lately has been right here amongst our Tiger fans. Personally, I could care less what goes on in Gumpville - just interested in what goes down in Tigertown.
I doubt Saban comes back to LSU. but he is a much better coach than Miles, game day wise. Miles has alot of great qualities, they just arent on the field game day. If you could roll Mile's integrity and other good qualities into a game day coach like Saban, youd have the perfect coach... maybe. I guess thats what makes them all individuals. I just hope Les develops into a great game day coach.
If Saban would come back to BR, all the nay-sayers would change their minds. Saban is as good a recruiter, and surely a better coach Miles. Add to that we would get our "kick you in your face", bad azz killer defense back that I think all LSU fans want and miss. With all that said, Saban is not to be trusted
The man couldn't handle the supermodel. Instead, he married your stepsister and you still want him back? He's going to leave your stepsister for someone else.
I trust Nick Saban, even if Nick Saban ups and moves to another school. Why? Because even when he signed with Bama, if he still for ONLY five years he would have Bama back in their place in college football before 5 years was up. And should he leave then the Bama job becomes on of the most sought after jobs in America. And unlike some SEC teams Bama wouldn't settle for LESs as his replacement. People who don't trust Saban are those with trust issues and/or have been burned in the past. I'm sorry there are those who still hate the man*, but for one second that anybody here wouldn't take Nick back as HC is frikkin' lying to yourself. Everybody and their mama's would take Nick back over Les Miles anyday of the way, so stop kidding yourself. Jealous and hatred (especially to the Corn Dogger who thinks Saban is vile, but in reality that poster who wrote that might be the most vile and moronic person still breathing) doesn't become you guys. Besides, LSU could not afford to buyout Les Miles and his staff and then sign Nick and his staff as it would cost nearly $30 million between the two staffs. So all of this is a moot point.
