With the injuries of Levingston and Downs, Miles says true freshman Michael Brockers will play saturday against MSU. With an already troublesome Dline... any ideas how this goes? Maybe Brockers takes advantage of the opportunity and has a blow up game and becomes a starter?

Until he plays, who knows. Downs was playing good ball as a true freshman, hate to have him lose playing time.

Brokers will play but limited. He is still the 3rd or 4th man in the rotation.

Don't see him becoming a starter that fast but he will get some experience and let our other lineman get some breathers.

Brockers did just that at the DE position this summer. He has the stuff but he needs to be eased into the new position.

I agree. He just started playing DT this week. The coaches won't throw him in the fire & he doesn't have enough experience in the position to completely tear it up this weekend.

Hopefully he performs well & can become a regular contributor this year, with a good chance at starting next year.
