Personally I was against bringing in Jefferson and running the ball in that situation. I am just saying that if you do decide to do that, you absolutely have to have to clock it if the run play fails and you do not go out of bounds. Again, that call was from Crowton, not from Miles. Miles called 1 play, and it was the game winner. :thumb:
Additionally, making an assumption that after the failed running you would clock it, there is the further problem of JJ not having the presence of mind to line 'em up, get the snap, and clock it. Instead, he was standing around looking toward the sideline while precious seconds were ticking away. :geauxtige
Thanks -- I do recall this now... Considering that it might not be the best of ideas to can the OC in midseason, I sure hope GC's shown the door at the end of the season. :geauxtige
In all honesty, they shouldn't have had to tell Jordan to clock it. It should have come natural. It's certainly the first thing that came to my head the second he was tackled. I gave Jordan the benefit of the doubt for awhile, but it's clear that he doesn't have the field awareness that is necessary to be a good QB.
I fully agree. I'm just taking a shot at the armchairs who come up with these brilliant solutions 2 days later.
Its actually a rub at ESPN but it doesn't show the whole pic anymore... It is now an interchangeable Sig...
