Yes I believe he gives Crowton the play calling duties. He is an offensive Line coach. Not really an offensive coach Crowton is the old QB with all the plays go look back at what positions he has coached. Matter of fact Ive done the work for you. 1980-1981 Michigan (GA) 1982-1986 Colorado (OL) 1987-1994 Michigan (OL) 1995-1997 Oklahoma State (OC) 1998-2000 Dallas Cowboys (TE) 2001-2004 Oklahoma State (HC) 2005-present LSU (HC) Also the only time he was an OC this is his record. He was the OC under head coach Bob Simmons. 1995 is the last year of the big 8 conf. 1995 Oklahoma State: 4–8 2–5 Oklahoma State Cowboys (Big 12 Conference) (1996–2000) 1996 Oklahoma State 5–6 2–6 5th South 1997 Oklahoma State 8–4 5–3 L (vs. Purdue) Alamo(Drew Brees FR year) the first is the overall record the second is conf. Now how good is that record. I like coach miles I hope he stays but he neeeeeeeds his OC and DC to create the plays which is why the 2 headed monster didnt work after BO left. He mite be able to help with Blocking TE and maybe guards, but that is as far as I go.
No he is that stupid as hard as it is to beleive. He isnt sure about what took place. he reminds me of a juvenile in court making up a story about driving and drinking to judge judy as he goes along. Um err and well we HADa license but we had a want not to drive and then the car well it wasnt rolling but it was.... :rolleye33:
Do you need video evidence of this? Because it's out there. It's on this forum from Saturday night. Les called the last play...there is no question about that.
Seriously? Let me refresh your memory: LSU vs Ole Miss 2009 Miles, "I don't know who told him to clock the ball". [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0B9kfnJvB6Q&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - Les Miles Calling for Spike and Lying Against Ole Miss 11/21/09[/ame]
It's either tucked in his belt behind him, or someone is holding it nearby. He doesn't call the plays, but as he said, he called the last play because Crowton had already turned off his headset and left the booth. The game was thought to be over, people started leaving, and then we had to line up and run a play, which Miles called himself. I wouldn't read too much into it. It's Crowton's offense.
