So if it is so obvious that Alleva overruled Miles firing Crowton, and it seems everyone knows this. Any chance Crowton knows this and just doesn't give a damn about anything anymore? Why would you want to stay somewhere you aren't wanted?
Because he is receiving a paycheck... Maybe he is thinking he is not wanted anywhere right now and is happy collecting LSU Welfare paid for by the LSU Fans....
who is the guy with the host on this Pelican Sports show (never listened to this show)? He used to work at LSU. He sounds real bitter. His facts sound right but he sounds like he is still bitter he got fired or something.
Because his odds of getting another job are dependent on his reputation as a playcaller, and as an assistant. If he is insubordinate or incompetent (intentionally), it will prevent him from finding work elsewhere.
Les and Crowton will have hard time ever getting in at a major program. Crowton will go back out west somewhere where he will promote his "I'm the Wizard" crap around. Les will keep collecting his checks because nobody in their right mind will offer anything like that again.
Nobody knows this, it has always just been a rumor. Head coaches usually hire and fire their own assistants.
Thanks for the special insight into next year....do you mind if I root for a couple more wins, even though it has already been decided by you? More talented teams lose EVERY week on EVERY single level of football, so if he is that bad why would we not lose every game. Seriously, if he is that bad the players would just give up and mail it in, then they would lose every game, right? It's never as good as it seems, and it's never as bad as it seems. (please disregard this phrase in the last 2 minutes of any close game )
