I don't know about ever, but it ranks right up there. It is hard enough to beat a division rival, especially as good as Atl in their house, but it gets even tougher when the refs are calling the game obviously in favor of your opponent.
there were 3 personal foul calls that were pathetic. And I didn't think Bushrod jumped any earlier than anyone else normally does.
for real. the first personal foul, on JoLon Dunbar, how does one stop mid dive? That was a terrible call. 2nd personal foul, on the hit to the helmet, he barely grazed the bottom of dude's facemask, if at all, once again, terrible call. And the 3rd on Torrence, he blocked the dude in the side, how was he supposed to know the ball was going out of bounds. 3 bullsh!t 15 yard penalties.
Yep, and ATL only had 1 penalty for 10 yards? Whatever.. I saw at least 3 plays when holding should've been called, but the whistles were swallowed. On one, they even called an illegal hands to the face on the drive that lead to ATL's only offensive TD of the night.
Atlanta really isn't that great. They played good defense, but if Sean Payton can get his head out of his arse and start running the football, the Saints could beat the hell out of the Falcons.
The Falcons are averaging less than 4 penalties per game. That might be an NFL record. Do they play that clean? Of course not.
