If Willis can drop to the end of the first round, the Saints are truly blessed.

I would like to see them take Laron. But they may need a safety that can cover better, not just knock the snot out of people.

    1. LB
    2. DB
    3. DT
    4. TE

I think we also need a WR to develop and we could always use another qualtity OL.

Well we don't have anyone that knocks the snot out of anyone either. So we're 0 for 2 in the free safety attribute department.

    Don't forget about Roman Harper.

I would definitely take Patrick Willis. Without him, Ole Miss may not have won a game.

    1. MLB - Simoneau is the weaklink in the LB corps, Fujita is actually pretty good at OLB
    2. FS - a great FS can help prevent the long plays the Saints have given up all season long
    3. DB - Thomas is old and done, no secret there
    4. DT - Even if we sign Hollis, he is old and will need to be replaced sooner than later
    5. TE - I still have hope we can get Billy Miller back to the level of play of his rookie season with the Texans
    6. WR - Horn is showing his age with injuries these past 2 seasons, he may retire soon, we need another possession receiver

I cannot begin to tell you how bad Bullocks is. Free Safety is the most important position on the field in addition to MLB. We need to replace both and all of a sudden this is a dominating defense. You can hide Thomas in the secondary if you sure up these positions. Remember, if you get to the QB, who cares if Thomas' receiver is wide open down the field.

Agree with Bhelm that you can't have enough quality O-linemen. I think we will sign Stinchcomb to about a 3 year contract, buying time to see if Strief is the answer at RT, which I think he is. Along with Holland and Pettiti, this gives us really good depth at both Tackle and Guard.

I was considering Willis to not make it out of the top ten picks. I know we are all used to having the Saints pick early, but damn it's fun knowing they aren't going to this draft.

What are our options for moving up on the draft board? Do we need to and who will we trade and go for?
