Are y'all stil beating that dead horse? This isn't about a woman playing football. It's about positive PR for LSU and we need it after Shady's last year and Ganja Badger this year. It's about Les looking inclusive, diverse, and magnanimous. It doesn't hurt a damn thing.

right, lets assume that after she tries out for the best college football team on earth that she can play for the best womens soccer team in the world. after that she can anchor the jamaican relay team and play the lead in the next scorcese epic. then lets have her direct the mars rover team and chair the united nations. she is cute, so she can probably do it.

lots of people care about silly PR crap, but i think it is more fun to just win games and be a good football team. she doesnt make the team any better so its a waste of time. why not give kim kardashian or danica patrick a tryout? they are also good at things other than footbal.

Making positive PR moves is a good thing. Winning football games and being a good team is better. Doing both is best of all....that's where LSU is now, so why bitch about it?

again, i remind you that the "you are bitching and upset" game doesnt work with me. i dont care if they try out krusty the clown. i am not bitching. i am simply telling you my opinion. you are free to get excited by publicity stunts and if you want them to tryout some retarded kids that would be great for you i guess. i enjoy football. if you say she will make the team, i will say she wont. if you say its a good publicity stunt i will say i am glad you enjoyed it, good for you.

Never said you were "upset". But when you make 50+ posts against an action that you have no control over, and hurts no one....well, that's "bitching" in my book. Whatever, it will be done after tomorrow. So, what do you think about Augusta Nat'l letting Condi Rice in?:D

thats incorrect, its your primary strategy :

and i told you before you were wasting your time with that game.

if you say so. if you claim 2 plus 2 is 8 will point out repeatedly that it isnt. i guess you would call that "bitching". if i called you a pedophile and you denied it would that be "bitching"? you should understand the difference between asserting an opinion that is definitely right, and "bitching".

also i didnt post anything "against" it, i just said she cant kick, which she cant. i neither favor nor oppose her trying out.

well apparently you are pretty angry about it? why? (just kidding i dont do that to people, its pointless.)

A simple "she's done playing soccer, she's not that good" would have sufficed, but thanks Dr. Phil for sharing your psycho analysis.

I would expect a skilled female free throw shooter to be able to hit a higher percentage than some males. Kicking field goals takes more power than free throws but not sure if it's to the extent of preventing a female from being able to compete.

For example, I only played soccer a little as a kid (didn't even have that strong of a leg) but was able to make a few 45 yd FGs when messing around with friends in college. I would think Mo would have a stronger leg than me so the distance part of it wouldn't be a problem. If she's more accurate (free throw example) than our 3rd string kicker, that would justify a spot on the team on merit alone. I predict others will debate (again) my opinion of whether she is actually capable to compete with the men and they may very well be correct. It just doesn't seem to be THAT athletic of a skill that a fairly strong, skilled woman can't possess.

On the other hand, it just seems like an unnecessary distraction and not even sure how I'd feel if she just came in to kick an extra point in a cupcake or homecoming game.
