right. you appear to be missing the point. if a woman is as good as any of those men, she should be allowed in the NHL. but women are not actually good enough to play anything at an elite male level.
Except for Chyna. She won the WWF Intercontinental Championship from a man and defended it several times. She even beat Tripple H once.
Yeah but most men aren't allowed to try out for the best college football team in the country. Even men as handsome as myself have to have at least some ability. Isom got a try out because she is easy on the eyes.
....and has a strong leg. I don't think she'd get a tryout at QB even if she looked like Brooklyn Decker.
she has a strong leg....for a girl. it works fine for women's soccer. she could never play goalkeeper for a male team, partially because she is way too slow. again, if you ever played an actual sport with a woman, even a very very good woman, you would be shocked by how weak and slow she is. because we are adults we should be able to acknowledge this without it being considered an insult. so again, when you say she has a "strong leg" that is actually not correct in the context we are discussing. we are talking about major college mens kickers. her leg is frightfully weak and horrible relative to the fellas. why not, i say give her a chance. if she can do it i say good for her.
We've had some really good kickers for the past decade and appear to have another good one at the moment. The timing for Mo may not be the best. If we're just considering letting her on the team and possibly kick in the 4th qtr against a cupcake school, that's a little different discussion. I attempted to find some of our kicker's stats from the 90s yesterday but gave up when it wasn't easily found. If Mo could kick 30-40 yd FGs at an 80% clip in the 90s (think Wade Richey), that would probably have been our best option.
Well, its over, at least temporarily. Isom was told today she didn't make the cut.....not because of her kicking, but because she didn't tackle well. She was told she could try out again in August, exclusively as a placekicker.
