not sure if you understand the proper policy. you are suppoed to pretend she really can kick. or failing that, say: "if she can kick, she deserves a chance.." and pretend that she can kick. women deserve the simple respect of everyone lying to them when they are hot.
Remember, Mo picked LSU and Louisiana to spend these last few years. The girl had offers from over 100 colleges and she picked us. Don't know how this will end, but I do like the way her years at LSU started. Best of luck to her.
She's building quite a life resume', IMHO! Good for her! I'm 56 years old and am starting to look back at life decisions and accomplishments and I can tell you, these things this young lady has accomplished, and the challenges she has accepted, at this Division I school will be quite enjoyable to think about as she matures. Even if she doesn't make the team, she put herself out there. Her parents must be so proud!
Rock, you may want to read this.......... LSU Football 2012: Female Soccer Star Attempts to Make Football Team | Bleacher Report A good write-up.
Thanks Dad! Don't know what to say, other than WOW! My respect ramped a little more. I knew nothing of this young woman other than her soccer and homecoming queen honors. I believe we all go through our trails and tribulations. Most of us find our way through; some are overwhelmed and see only one way out...unfortunately.
I don't think media focus being off the rest of the team would be a bad thing to tell you the truth. The players need some a little room to breath without thinking about redemption or anything like that. They are likely loving this I think. And I would bet that much worse kickers have been given an opportunity to make the team before. So I really see no problem with Mo trying out.
Eureka! I think you've found it. As for those belittling Mo, I believe your answer can be found in Canadian pharmaceutical companies on the web. Then you can feel better about 'yourselves.'
