    Side note:

Why does it have to be a stunt maybe just maybe the girl likes football.

Guess what boys anything you can do a girl can do too! Just twice as better. We can also have babies and be in labor for hours and deal with PMS. Can boys do that?

It is 2012 women can vote, work, drive and run for president. All those things you boys do.

I don't have a problem with it. I am a big fan of Mo and wish her the best. If football doesn't work I hope in opens other doors for her. I think she is a great person and a great ambassador for LSU. She tells in her story how she stumbled a bit and had some tragedy in her life, but is seems like she has come out of it Ok. Geaux Mo!:thumb:

Oh and BTW I have seen women in many sports from Motocross racing to ping pong that could put most men to shame.

I'll say it again, I'm all for girl power but football is totally a guys game! I'd be disappointed as well if the best kicker LSU as a national championship contender has is a girl. It would be a distraction LSU can do without.

I do think it's a publicity stunt she will use as a stepping stone to land a TV job or something.......perhaps a sideline reporter....it's the closest she should get to being on the team, well played sista, well played.

Let me know when some woman... any woman runs a sub 4.5 forty.

I am not that terribly fast at swmming, just you know, faster than average dudes. I was not even good enough to swim at LSU, and the LSU swim team is not very good. Despite this I could easily beat Amanda Beard, a Olympic medalist in breast stroke. I wouldn't even have to wear one of those fast skin suits. I would smoke her.

The fact that Mo Isom can kick pretty well for a girl does not mean she can kick well enough to be on a college football team.

Let's not forget that Mo Isom isn't even a world class athlete in terms of women's soccer. She was just the best player on a middle tier college team.

Most elite level women, cannot compete with slightly above average men in sports. Its just a fact.

There was this german tennis player named Karstan Brach who was ranked in the 400s or something in tennis. He played the Williams sisters and beat them 6-1 and 6-2 respectively. He even smoked between sets. After the match he said they would be pretty good country club players if they were men.

If their talent is equal, the woman is a world class athlete and the man is the best guy at the rec center. Is that Mo Isom? Is that Drew Alleman?

why dont you try out for the saints? you like football right? maybe you are really good. who knows might as well give it a shot.

or maybe not because there is zero chance and you would be wasting everyone's time.

right of course. are you aware that everyone else is not a child and doesnt think like this?

those "skills" dont help anyone kick FG.

that is lovely but i think the topic is football. try to pay attention.
