dislocated his shoulder and expects him to jam people at the line, as well as putting him in a tampa 2 defense, when he is a man corner. Yes makes sense Cowboys, I hope they lose every game.
Dallas is going to be leading the NFC Least with a 2-3 record after this weekend. Still a crappy team with a horrible owner/GM.
Dee Milliner also benched for an injury. His ego is bruised. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...-dee-milliner-week-2-fear-140650126--nfl.html
I was thrilled when the Cowboys drafted Mo 6th and I always support Tigers in the NFL. But the truth is that Mo has just been OK at best since he has been in the NFL. He certainly has not lived up to the hype around being the first defensive player picked in the 2012 draft. Since the middle of last season, good quarterbacks are torching him. And check his stats last year under Ryan before you get too excited about Ryan's coaching ability. One interception is not great for 15 games. This year has been very rough for Mo. While the Tampa 2 is not a perfect fit overall for him, his performance when he does get to press a receiver has been just plain bad. The receivers release freely and just eat him alive if they want to run a slant (Rivers to Royal). He may actually be playing the zone better. I still believe that Mo can develop into a good NFL cornerback. Time will tell. Just like on Ryan....
There was nowhere for that defense to go but up. Though the thought that there's a useful Ryan brother in the NFL keeps me up at night.
The article makes is sound like he's a little banged up. I think he had a solid rookie season under Ryan until he got hurt. As you mentioned, I don't think the Cover 2 plays to his strengths as a defender. I haven't seen any Cowboy games this year to gauge his performance, so I'll take your word for it that he's been bad in man 2 man situations. Still, I think he'd perform better if he still played for Ryan.
