Outstanding defensive player award Barron, Claiborne finalists for Nagurski - College Football Nation Blog - ESPN Do you really think Barron has a chance against Mo? The other three finalists this year are Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly, Illinois defensive end Whitney Mercilus and Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still. IMO, Mo wins the nagurski award easily Next award ... Walter Camp ... I think Mo wins the Nagursky but don't sleep on the LBer from BC. His tackling numbers are insane, even if BC's team isn't. Mo ain't winning the Walter Camp, but it won't be because he's not deserving.
Brandon Taylor should won the Lott Trophy (which should be named the Reed Trophy). And this award should go to the best safety. Mo should win the first Patrick Peterson Award given to the nations best cornerback.
