    It just seems that right now the Angels are just 2 1/2 steps above everyone else.

    They always have the deepest pitching and the best bullpen, so when they hit, they are lethal.

    just curious, but why all the hate on a guy who is hitting .270 with an OBP of .355?

    He is not a great player by any means, but is a solid #9 hitter.

    Looks like the Cubs and Angels will play for it all.

    I really like the Cubs after they shellacked the Brewers (pretenders, obviously) this week. A 4 game sweep in which every Cub starter dominated for the most part.

    so 4 out of 162 determines the Brewers are pretenders?

    Not so fast.

    The Rays lost 8 in a row before the break and are still in the thick of things.
