They were at home. They had their best pitching lined up. They sucked. They got obliterated in 3 of the 4. They sucked. They are done.
If you're going to lead all major league SS in errors (when he went down with injury), it's probably a good idea to not also battle for the lead in Double Plays, have the worst Hr/RBI numbers of your career, hang out near the bottom of the Total Bases category for MLB SS, etc. etc. etc. he's one of if not the worst everday SS in MLB right now when you look at the whole package.
Every team sucks in four games in a row at some point in a 162 game season. I am sure the Cardinals a few years ago sucked in 4-5 games in a row at some points. It's cool. You'll be on here making a post about how great they are if they win 11 out of 13 soon.
The Cubs just lost... AT HOME to the Pirates. If they lose again tomorrow, I am proclaiming them pretenders and they will be finished in my eyes.
Bay hit his 1st homer for Boston earlier this evening, and Manny just abused a 1st pitch fastball from Petit for his 1st as a Dodger. Anyone feel like doing a lil research and find out whens the last time two guys traded for each other each hit their 1st homer for their nw teams on the same day?
hopefully not for their sake this dude averages 60 runs and 60 RBIs with over 550 ABs the past few seasons talk about non-productive
