he was like that in Atlanta

he was either fantastic, or he was giving up 10+ runs against the White Sox.

Well, he's only given up more than 7 earned runs once this year so I guess he's doing better, kinda. :)

thats a mistake, you are supposed to hate all things yankees. mets fans and red sox fans are allies. in fact, many red sox and met fans report the other as their favorite team from the other league.

Last night was Papi's 6th career SB and only his 2nd with the Sox. What was funny he actually let up while running and still made it. After the game, he stole 2nd again, taking it with him.

The Braves are certainly turning the corner. Hottest team since All-Star break. I think June was the worst month ever (since '91). McCann hit his 1st career grand slam last night. Still 11.5 back in the div and only 5 in the WC. Chipper stay tied with the 79-year old record for consecutive games w/ an extra base hit (14 games).

    In other news...
It will seem very odd for TB$ not to carry the Braves games on a regular basis. The Braves put TB$ on the map, not the other way around. TB$ will carry all the Division Series games for the next 7 years. Louisiana is not included in the "six-state home territory". About 45 games will be shown in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. I guess both runs are over this year. I think the Braves organization will completely change very soon with the sale of the team all the way down to changing the mustard on the hot dogs.

Let me re-phrase that. I don't HATE the Mets, I just never forgave them for being on the winning side of our choke job in '86.

Skip Carey made it clear during the last TBS broadcast that there are already talks of another national network picking up the Braves ballgames. I think USA was maybe the example he used?

:) Andruw with 2 solid knocks already

Proving that just as he was last year, he is the MVP of the League

Huddy is throwing the ball great tonight, let's just hope he avoids the 1 big inning he is accustomed to
