    Ive been wanting to

    A) Move Giles
    B) Let Betimit play more

for as long as our bullpen has sucked...long time, huh? :yelwink2:

JMO, but I think Giles was a heavy roid user and hasnt been the same since. Plus, a reliever of his value would be huge. Betimit has great potential as well.

This is the first real chance I've had to watch Atlanta in a long time. They seem to have fixed whatever was wrong with them earlier this year. Betemit appears to be the real deal, so does Francouer and McCann. if these guys can get more consistency out of their pitching staff, they could be set for a run this year, and looki in good sahpe to continue competeiing for a few more years.

this year, if we can crawl into the playoffs, it'll be great, but next season with Hampton back, and a revamped bullpen, and Frenchie and McCann being better, they expect HUGE things

while we're talking playing time, I think Bobby should get Matty Diaz some more swings, too

I hope they do make it to the playoffs, I really like Bobby Cox. Also, being a Red Sox fan, I hat all things New York. I'll be pulling for a monumental collapse by the mets.

WOW!!!! David Ortiz just stole second! He may be the largest guy I've ever seen steal a base.

Ahh well, at lest this game is not in Atlanta and we're being spared hearing that silly chant. ;)

Here's to tomorrow and a Weaverless game.

    Marquis isn't much better

the team does score a TON of runs for him, though

and Tim Hudson hasn't exactly been dominant lately

Ummm, for the most part Marquis has done a fine job in his wins. He's only needed a "TON" of runs scored for him in three of those eleven wins.
