the padres were a hot team coming in... running into a brick wall now, though!

Let's hope John S. is active to get us some help in the ol pen. We have 7 mill or so to spend.

 

Chipper Jones has a chance to tie one the the great MLB records tonight - 14 consecutive games with an extra base hit. Honestly, I did not even know about this record until the past few days, but I think it is one of the most incredible ones out there.

Chipper just tied it with a HR in the 4th!

A little disapointing since it was off of my former little league teamate, Jake Peavy. Oh well.

 

The fun for the Braves will be interrupted tomorrow through Wednesday.

we need a good outing tommorrow out of Horacio, and a good 2nd half out of him, b/c Chuck James's magic has seemed to run out.
