you're right, 3 hall of famers as the regular 3 starters in the rotation and a 5 time gold glove hall of famer in center is a sure sign you are the kc royals of baseball. well at least the same amount of titles anyhow.
tonoght jose reyes sliced his finger sliding into first. i just cant understand how managers let this continue to happen. why do people slide into first? it is crazy! i want to strangle them when they do it. why cant managers make them stop?
i agree i thought the same thing when i saw the play he'll have a lot of time to rest it in the coming days luckily
So I just got to see the Cardinals in person for the first time. What a dream game for the first time seeing them! Down by two runs headed into the ninth. They get two runs off Lidge in the 9th to tie it. Then in the 10th Pujols hits a homer to win it!
i know... i thought to myself when i was watching it that you must be having a blast p.s. why was oswalt pitching in the 10th?
i went to the second game of the doubleheader and the mets looked fine to me, they won 17-3. i saw the first game of future star mike pelfrey. i will tell my grandkids. also they are 12.5 up over florida, i figure that is respectable.
you said the same thing about I can't LASTings Milledge... that dude can't even catch a fly-ball Pelfrey did look great though, i won't lie about that 1-2 in the series, though
Not sure really. Looked like they just badly wanted the win and tried to go all out for it there in the end. Can't blame them, it was a tough way to lose the lead. I don't know why these teams still pitch to Pujols in such situations. Here's a view from my seat, one of the worst seats in the house. :hihi:
