yeah i heard that. crazy. not even a 2 yr gig worth 60? you dont want an uninterested manny now do you?
also heard the Giants are going to possibly offer an absurd amount just to raise the price tag the Dodgers eventually get him for. Not fully sure why teams don't want to sign him -- even when he was "being Manny" in Boston, they were always winning.
sounds like that crap nick saban is pulling with his sure recruits. better up the offer then. this isnt larry fitzgerald you're negotiating with as you know.
he'll be a major pain in the ass, but he'll still hit 30 HR and drive in 100 runs. When he's in the batter's box, he's locked in.
he's asking for too much. last I heard, he's still looking for 4 years/100+mil. He's still worth 25 mil now, but will he be hitting at a 25 mil per clip when he's 41? History says probably not.
the dodgers can afford another slow, fat and old OF then in that case -- they just got rid of Andruw.
I am one that thinks Andruw's age is probably actually + 4-5 than what people think. Why would he have been: a. that good at that young an age b. be this bad in "his prime" So I, personally, think he is 35-36 or so. But that's just a total guess.
