    if the bosox can get 7 strong innings out of beckett tonight and keep the bullpen well rested (okajima and masterson scare the hell out of me) then the sox will be ok.

    a win would be great but not critical. getting a consistent, healthy beckett is.

    How's that 100 million dollar investment treatin ya?

    Looks like a great choice to me.

    18-3 in the regular season, yeah that's great. But dominate in post season and you're worth your weight in gold.

    Rays have not played like this all year long.

    They still stand a good chance to even it one game all. I'll take my chances if that's the case.

    The Red Sox are displaying why they are a great team. They are simply tough to beat. So much experience on that team.

    Well it was worth staying up until 1:40 in the AM to watch the Rays win.

    This is shaping up to be a dandy series.

    Rays are in it to win it.

    9=8.

    we have a series now, boys. rays with 4 bombs over the green monster annihilate the sox 9-1. longoria, pena, upton and baldelli.

    combined age less than schilling?

    sonnastine should have an edge over wakefield and the rays could put the first nail in this one if they can go up 3-1 at worst 3-2 headed back to the trop.

    That's exactly where the BoSox want them.
    You should know by now they don't get excited until they're about to get sh!tcanned.

    boston is the one team I never count out. yes i know they play best with their backs against the wall but im not so sure they can slow down this young team gaining confidence.

    especially with the wiffle baller on the mound.

    we'll see what happens. I never get my hopes up or down with Wake on the mound. Might be untouchable, might give up 10 runs in 2 1/3 (doubtful it'll be anywhere in between)
