mlb draft its a long process but we can say goodbye to a couple of our guys. pedro alvarez from vandi just went #2 overall to pitt. odd to see a college guy, non-pitcher go that high. vandi has had some serious talent go thru that program the last few years. they need some hardware to show for it. keep in mind, a player's draft position is more about his signability than overall talent, relatively speaking.
Rumors are running that Buster Posey, stud catcher for FSU, is trying to fall to the Yanks or Red Sox by demanding a $12 million signing bonus and saying he wont sign elsewhere. He was project to go top 5 and obviously he would have to fall to 30 for this to happen. That is why I ABSOLUTELY HATE the yankoffs and red sux with a passion...and Posey can suc it as well.

mlb draft i am a fair weather lsu baseball fan, I'll admit it. I always root for them, but rarely can tell you anybody on the team. Do you guys expect any of the lsu players being drafted today? eric
