hoping he can at least DH for a while. can't lose that bat (especially with Papi already sidelined).

I have a feeling it ain't over yet.
These guys play again at the end of the month. Gomes and Crawford are going to get it for snapping like that. Coco ain't off the hook by any means. After the game, on NESN, he was talking about it and said they were "scratching at his face like little girls" while he was at the bottom of the pile.

He also described his plan to charge the mound like he was invading on d day, which was funny because he was full of ****. There was no need to charge at that time.

he knew the hit was coming. the way Maddon and Coco yelled back and forth last night after Coco took out iwamura, everyone knew it was coming.
Still entertaining to watch. I'm just pissed I didn't get home in time to see it live.

how? youve got to be fing kidding me. :hihi:

I was kind of hoping he would charge. But it is sort of bush league to do it when you know you are getting thrown at, and it wasnt at the head. I still thought it was funny how he talked about planning the whole thing out like he faked how he was going to first base and all that nonsense. Still, I fully enjoyed it. ;)

I always enjoy a good baseball brawl. I was speeding home from work so I could get to the TV. Bastids scrapped before I made it though.
Yeah, he's full of chit about planning it, but I like that he threw Crawford and "Big Guy" Gomes under the bus. Should make for a good series in a few weeks.

    8 suspensions from the brawl

    Sox lose
    Coco - 7 games
    Lester - 5
    Sean Casey -3

    Rays lose
    Shields - 6
    Gomes - 5
    Edwin Jackson - 5
    Crawford - 4
    Iwamura - 3

ESPN reporting that the manny/Youk spout was over the way Youk goes postal after a bad at bat (even when the Sox are winning and in 1st place).
Supposedly other teammates have said something to him in the past as well.
Manny must have told him something, and whatever Youk said in return sparked it.

Chipper Jones decides its time to have a tear in his quad.

    Right on schedule.

Douchebag is on my fantasy team and he better get healthy quick.

Anyone watching the Braves on WGN? It is being broadcasted as a 1948 game...pretty cool.
