In a little over a month of play, Towles is 5 for 60, with, 2 runs, 3 RBIs, 5 BBs, 17 Ks, .083 avg, .154 OBP, .108 SLB Them's pitcher's type numbers for sure 2 automatic outs in the bottom of the order is not good.
Ausmus is like getting your slugger back from the DL, when he plays for Towles. Our farm system has failed at the catcher position, thats a given.

It turns out the hype may have been justified. Bruce, through less than a week of play, has 2 homeruns (one of which was a walk-off), 2 stolen bases, and is hitting around .600.
