A man shouldn't hit a woman but women shouldn't put hands on a man either. Men have a right not to be hit, slapped or pushed also- legally. The whole world wants to treat everyone equally until it doesn't suit them. He may be within his rights since she she pushed him after calling him a nigger and spitting on him. I agree. You walk away if you've reached the violent point in a situation with a woman. Period. The ONLY way I would condone his actions is if his life was in danger - which it obviously was not. Yes the man has rights too, but the GENTLEMAN inside us should know when it is time to step away and not escalate it to that point. Fact of the matter is, he had the power to end it. Being a gentleman, he would have. Being not a gentleman, and doing what he did... well he was just being a shit.

Calling him racial names and spitting in his face is fucking wrong too. We now live in a world with women in combat. You kill a bitch these days, in certain circumstances so slapping one ain't shit, punching one not out of the question. We need to teach girls not to put hand on a man. That happens and we not talking about this and I'm not getting all the hurtful comments coming my way when these chivalrous men awake in the morning. Listen, tell Kyle to chill out. This thread hasn't reached that point LOL. We'll wrap it up though and I'll leave with this... I'll agree that women deserve some repercussion for their actions, men do as well. However, my problem with this particular situation is that, first of all, he claimed that she "spit on, punched and hurled racial slurs at a cornered man". He was not cornered. And not only that, the rest of his teammates left (wisely) but he CHOSE to stay. I would agree with you, perhaps, if he'd just shoved her and walked away. But he could have KILLED her. I'm sorry, the punch he gave her was just too much.
