Mitt is one of the worst campaigners since Dukakis. If he can put his foot in his mouth he will. As to the details of his comment; Reps have agreed that things like pre existing conditions, etc and the other items mentioned all along. How one gets from point A to point B is what Mitt was talking about. A flip flop is saying you are against a specific point then saying you are for it (a thing Mitt and BHO have both done). Here he is talking about how he would get there. Is it easier to fix what it there or start over? He shouldn't have spoken as he did but said something about how is the best way to get a good health care program not the mess and corrupt program Obamacare is. He should cite the Annenberg Foundation study that points out $750 billion/year that could be saved by increasing competition, eliminating unneeded medical procedures, and other things in our current system. The point is that Obamacare did nothing to change how care is provided and make it better and more efficient thereby reducing cost, but only changes who the winners are. He made a deal with Big Pharma, Big Insurance (including AARP), Tort lawyers and Big hospitals to get his program in place and guarenteed their profits rather than our healthcare.
