The Iranians did not come close to overthrowing their government. They staged some protests, got their asses kicked by the Revolutionary Guard, and meekly went home. What would you want to do, invade Iran? Obama did what needed to be done--covertly aiding the Iranian resistance and overtly bleeding Iran with sanctions. We're hurting them cheaply and letting the resistance simmer until it reaches a boiling point. We're the good cop, Israel is the bad cop. "Better make a deal with us or these crazy jews will turn your cities into ashes." I meant to question the patriotism of the Republican party, not your personal patriotism. Sorry for being unclear. Not sure how that relates to Romney taking credit for "saving the Olympics" when it was the taxpayers who did it. None of that money was recovered. And you are wrong. Obama used $49 million of taxpayers money to bail out General Motors. And GM has paid back all but $16 billion so far. And just for perspective, I must point out that George W. Bush bailed out Wall Street to the tune of $4.76 TRILLION! Of which $1.54 TRILLION is still outstanding.
