I dont think anyone here is satisfied with what we have at QB so should we go after mustain. Reports that i have recieved have been that mustain out played barkley this spring and should have been named starter but we all know barkley the golden boy was promised the position. I would definately look at him due to the fact he could play right now....

I was thinking of this kid yesterday, i wouldn't touch him with a 50 ft. pole at this point, dude is bad luck. Plus if Matt Barkley who was a true freshman can beat him out, then i don't want him anyway.

I am pretty sure that Mustain was #3 on their depth chart.

He's one of the USC players likely to find some greener pastures.

He might just like playing against Houston Nutt with receivers like Toliver, Randle, and Shepard.

Hahahaha, I'll pass but thanks. Guy hasn't thrown a meaningful pass in 3 years, meanwhile we've been homegrowing our own players with the same playbook. I'd rather cash in on the guys we've been developing, assuming they're finally ready.

Either way, it's worth it to find out.

Barkley gave USC the best chance to win last year as a freshman. Beat Ohio State in Columbus. Mustain may have looked good but it still remains to be seen how he will do in the real game. But, I think he proved himself to be a good QB at Arky but got benched because of all the madness going on there. It's worth a shot seeing as how we haven't had a big-time QB since 06-07

I'm sure CLM thinks it's worth sending out a feeler or making a call. Mustain's gotta be worrying about riding the bench his Senior year, Barkley will start the next 3 seasons at fUSC. On the other hand, what are the chances of Mustain overtaking JJ by September?
